[5/11/09 ] IDOPP week Updates
FT weekend 2 and the LEAD programmes have concluded about two or three months ago. Now, we're moving on to our next FT programme which is IDOPP week. Some schools have completed their IDOPP programme while others are still currently in progress. The theme for IDOPP this year is "The War on Children". In any war, conflicts and abuse, it is always the children whom will suffer.
Hence the task is currently being executed by the regional delegates in the various schools in Malaysia. Check out the blog or website for more details.
*Updated* The photo gallery introduces the pictures of the IDOPP event which started in the year 2007 that took place at the La Salle Centre, Ipoh. More to come soon.
[04/05/09] March/April Wrap Up
Moving on from the FT Weekends in Ipoh & Sarawak, Regional Convention in Sabah and the Earth Hour movement nationwide in March, the FT followed up with two regional conventions in the Klang Valley and the Southern Region. These programmes enabled more Lasallians to "Break Walls and Build Bridges". For comprehensive stories, check out our blog.
The FT Newsletter is out and is finding its way to you. The articles will be available on this site in the coming week.

[11/03/09] Asli Day Out
This is a community outreach programme organized by the delegates of APLYC 2007. For this event, 30 children from Kg. Chang, Bidor will be brought on a trip to KL. The process includes sessions to facilitate the reaffirmation of their indigenous roots and to highlight the importance of education in their community's development.
After this project was announced at the FT Weekend, a fund raising programme; "Walk the Talk Fund" was introduced as well. For this, FT members who wish to participate are encouraged to save 20 cents per day as a commitment to helping the needy.
For those who wish to be part of the funding programme, contact Kah Hon at kahhon85@yahoo.com. EVERY LITTLE BIT COUNTS.

The 1st FT Weekend of 2009 was held with great success. About 60 FT members attended this session. The participants were engaged to reaffirm their commitment to the Lasallian mission. The Universal Declaration of Human Rights was the focal point of much of the discussion during the session facilitated by our speaker, Jerald Joseph.
